The back deck was a great place to enjoy lunch and the walleye tacos were so tasty!

Good service great food

The changes to the menu are not good. The zucchini preparation was poor, particularly the battering which only covered one side of the slice of zucchini. They down-graded the bread used in the French Dip sandwich from a ciabatta roll to a nondescript grocery store sandwich roll. There was no soups the night I visited, which were always a signature element of a meal at Stella’s. And their desert menu is very limited.

Slow service. Bland spaghetti however the peanut Thai pasta was very good.

This is an amazing restaurant in the middle of a tiny town. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food served. Also, the menu is varied. You will not be getting just the mundane Midwest version of Italian food here.

Nice staff and good food

Just did a take out and it was great! Tuna melt, fries, veggie melt and cole slaw. All was tasty and hot! Highly recommend! And they have outdoor seating so they’ll be open soon!! Ok, ok, my nephew owns the place but I wouldn’t write a review if the food wasn’t good.

Always a treat, their food is actually really great for out here. I love coming for the lunch special and a great bloody mary.

This is our perennial favorite dining spot. And despite all the tasty options we have a hard time straying from the ultimate ham and cheese sandwich. The house salad has never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Good food, nice looking place. A little miscommunication with a young bartender about a drink but it was super minor and he was really nice.

My wife and I have always loved Stella's food, but tonight was really below average. The food was overpowering and the drink my wife ordered tasted like cough syrup. The service was pretty good, our waitress replaced the drink for free. I ordered the same thing I always get and it was not what it used to be. I probably won't be going back at the prices they charge.

Great food and awesome outdoor patio.

I always have good food here. I ordered the veggie grill on a hoagie bun with chicken and it was the perfect amount of food with plenty of flavor. We made a reservation for four and got to sit out on their back deck area which was a lovely space. The flies were atrocious but I'm not sure what can really done about that being as it the outdoors.

Stella's is a favorite place of mine. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful. You have your choice of indoor or outdoor seating. And the menu is varied. The selection of wines and beers is nice. My only complaint is Bring Back flights of wine. Keep up the good work Stella's

Wonderful food, service, cocktails and atmosphere. Zucchini noodle options is so rare for the midwest and I highly recommend trying this wonderful delicacy. Crab artichoke dip is a housemade favorite- for midwesterners this is an amazing treat--- but for out of town travelers may be a little cheese heavy. Wine selection is better than larger neighborhooding towns/cities and is a worthwhile destination in Minnesota.

A good place to eat with a nice atmosphere and high quality food. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Does not feel like most small town dining, It has a more city feel. We keep coming back and like it every time.

Food is good, but the waitresses seem to be more interested in talking and their phones than serving you. We had a girl named Abby and she forgot almost everything we asked for, wouldn't recommend and won't be coming back

Awesome food and waitstaff...

We came in with a large group and several kids and the service was great. The food was equally great. Had a Flatbread pizza and it was excellent. Would definitely stop there again. Also had a very nice patio area.

My hubs and I came here yesterday for lunch. This is clearly the fanciest restaurant in town. Really great sandwiches and wine- I enjoyed the tuna melt and moscato. Pro tip: the potato are deliciously salty, I recommend dipping them in a side of coleslaw

Wonderful food and service

Great food with a large selection of entrees, service is outstanding. A friendly, high class restaurant in a small lake town, makes for great memories.

This is my face every time I get to go to Stella's! Back deck is such a nice atmosphere! Food is delish (Thai chicken pasta and the Thai chicken flat bread are sooo good!). This place is worth checking out! We have not brought our young kids here when we go here... It feels like a nicer restaurant and a bit pricier. That's not to say you couldn't bring kids, we just don't. :)

My daughter and I had a nice relaxing and delicious lunch at Stella's this afternoon after a bike ride at Glendalough State Park by Battle Lake. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our lunch. There appeared to be only one waitress with several booths filled. Good experience--will return!! Posting a 5, I hope.

Fantastic food and a wonderful wine selection. Service is fast and friendly, and if you get a table on the Patio, will have a perfect view of main street.

The food was really good. I love their turkey Reuben .Slightly higher prices than a cafe but very well prepared and delicious every time we have visited. Service was good and the atmosphere was as well. They have new owners and they are doing great at improving on what was there.

We have eaten here a few times in the past and had good food, unfortunately today we weren't as lucky. We started with the artichoke crab dip. It was greasy and seperated and the bread was hard and stale. For the main course I ordered the shrimp scampi ravioli. The shrimp was dime sized and over cooked the ravioli was flat and again the sauce was quite seperated and greasy. It tasted like a meal in a bag you'd get from Walmart. I'm sure we will eat here again as options in the area are limited but hopefully we forget how the food tasted today before we come back the next time.

Chipper waitstaff, enjoyed the outside seating and the walleye was melt-in-your-mouth incredible.

We love Stella's! Great food, great ambiance. It is such a deal and all the appetizers are superb. We love their pasta too. Highly recommend!

We ordered an appetizer (nachos) to share; it took just under 40 minutes to arrive. We had to go ask the waitstaff about our food order as we neared the 30 minute mark as our table was not approached during our wait time. It was then explained that our order takes longer because of the wood-fire process used to make the nachos. (?) This should be noted on the menu or stated at the time of ordering. Our food arrived and looked great until we got to the chips under the toppings. All overdone, inedible and even burned around the edges. How to eat nachos without the chips? Please rethink and redo the 'homemade chips' recipe/process to make them edible and delicious. Very disappointed.

We had a reservation seated groups in front of us without reservations. Very unorganized took 45 minutes to get a drink. Then they told us food would be delayed a half an hour to 45 minutes.

We are never disappointed! Good atmosphere, great service and phenomenal food and drinks. We look forward to a visit everytime we are at the cabin. A definite must if you’re in the area.

I would come back just for the lemonade! We sat on the patio and had fish and chips and a great salad with apples and Gorgonzola. Our server was excellent.
